Business Development Manager (TIC) – Energy – UK


The Business  provides a full range of business process audit and support solutions, including accredited third-party management systems auditing and certification, second-party supplier auditing, sustainability data verification, process performance analysis, and IRCA-registered auditor training. BA helps clients by sharing best practices and new industry requirements and assessing their performance against their own objectives.


Required skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years B2B sales experience, ideally selling similar products or solutions
  • Solid understanding of concepts of sales forecasting, pipeline management, conversion rates and sales planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of hitting targets, KPIs
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Self-motivated with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Good IT skills, including experience of working with a CRM system
  • Full driving license and own car is desirable for occasional client visits and office team meetings


Key activities:

  • Outbound calling to potential ISO Management Systems customers
  • Meeting all relevant Activity Key Performance Indicators around, call volume, lead management, opportunity generation, client contact and pipeline maintenance
  • Delivering high levels of customer service and building strong relationships with clients
  • Closing deals and achieving sales targets
  • Updating Customer Relationship Management SysteM
  • Hunt for new business in areas where trends have been identified
  • Strong Business to Business Selling, including physical and remote meetings
