General Manager – Ready Mix – Texas

My client is looking for a General Manager to oversee one of their Texas Ready Mix Divisions. This position will oversee and manage; safety, operations, finance, quality and equipment for the entirety of the division.

This role oversees 10+ plants and will require the individual to be in office (Remote not available)

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to division staff of around 200 employee’s (5 direct)
• Promote strong safety culture
• Hiring/firing, developing and directing employee’s
• Delivery, Production, Dispatch, Quality and Maintenance
• Full P&L and budget responsibilities
• Execute CapEx and other special projects
• Support the sales team

Qualifications

• 7+ years within production/operations in the Ready Mix industry
• Strong track record of leadership skills
• Sales and marketing skills to convert leads
• Negotiation and problem solving skills
• Build and maintain professional relationships
• Ability to travel through territory including day trips and overnights as required
• Valid drives license
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Compensation

• $150-$175,000 base
• Up to 30% performance based Managerial Incentive
