Head of Sales – West Coast – Packaging

SECTR Partners are partnered with a medium sized Flexible Packaging company, based on the West Coast that specialise in Flexible Pouches.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Generate nationwide leads with distributors and food service/QSR end-users by showcasing custom paper packaging (bags, cups, holders, boxes).
  • Partner with CEO to close pilot programs and long-term contracts.
  • Leverage proven U.S. retail success and expanding food service portfolio.
  • Achieve annual revenue targets through new deal closures.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in graphic communications or related industries.
  • 5+ years of progressive sales leadership in printing, packaging, or adjacent industrial/consumables sectors.
  • Proven track record managing key accounts and mastering complex negotiations.
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in value-based selling (margins, price/mix, ROI).
  • CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce) and disciplined pipeline/forecast management.
  • Credible with technical and operations teams; exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Data-driven, curious, resilient; embodies ethical, customer-centric leadership.
  • Previous experience with Flexible Pouches
