Operations Manager – East Coast – Packaging

SECTR Partners have partnered with a Flexible Packaging company based on the East coast, who specialise with Flexible Bags & Pouches, along with Labels and Adhesives

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Orchestrate daily operations across manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution to ensure flawless execution.
• Streamline processes to boost productivity, eliminate waste, and elevate product quality.
• Forge tight collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Procurement for seamless order fulfillment and delighted customers.
• Master inventory, production scheduling, and supply chain logistics to meet demand with precision and agility.
• Champion continuous improvement through Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies.
• Uphold rigorous compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Track KPIs and operational metrics, delivering crisp performance insights to senior leadership.
• Fuel strategic planning and capacity expansion to power scalable business growth.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in operations leadership within the corrugated packaging or related manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of corrugated packaging production processes, materials, and supply chain dynamics.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex workflows, and deliver operational improvements.
• Experience with ERP systems and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed (up to 30%).
