Site Director – Pulp & Paper Production

Sectr Partners are working alongside a world leader in Pulp & Paper production that are looking to hire an experienced Site Director. You will be responsible for managing manufacturing, maintenance and other operational activities within a large site producing pulp and specialty papers.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute short and long-term production objectives.
• Prioritize employee safety and engagement, adhering strictly to safety policies.
• Propose manufacturing plans and maintain high-quality standards.
• Engage with labor unions, customers, and government bodies.
• Manage the budget and meet financial targets for the facility.
• Implement strategies to enhance competitiveness and profitability.
• Lead and guide plant management team to achieve goals effectively.
• Facilitate transparent communication across all levels of the organization.
• Establish and maintain production, maintenance, and quality standards.
• Oversee significant projects and changes within the facility.
• Oversee recruitment and training activities.

Requirements & Skills:

• 8+ years experience working with paper manufacturing technology and processes.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or Related Field.
• Experience in continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma.
• Fluent in French & strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proven track record in successful team management.
